After winning a world record for the slowest home appraisal on the planet earth, we have finally reached our goal. Tomorrow we close on the purchase of our new home in Annabella, Utah. As a good-will gesture we let the sellers choose the appraiser which turned into a nightmare. It only took 4 weeks and 1 day from the time he actually visited the home until we had the appraisal in our hands. That is pretty much the slowest appraisal ever, gosh!
Now we get to switch gears and start packing for what we hope is the last move for a very long time. We have fallen completely in love with Central Utah and can’t wait to get involved in our new community and neighborhood. The quality of life is amazing and so very different from life in the City. While we do miss our very good friends that we left behind, we long to forge new friendships in a place where time nearly stands still. A few more short weeks and we will be unpacking and settling into the rest of our lives. There is light at the end of the tunnel and it makes our mountains shine.

Congratulations on the new home. My wife and I are moving from Los Angeles to Mapleton, Utah soon so we feel your pain regarding leaving frineds and family. While not quite as much in the country as you, it will feel like it to us coming from LA.
