Jolynn worked very hard Saturday to give Alyssa and Hannah the perfect princess party. For an activity when all the girls first arrived they decorated foam purses with cute shapes and letters. Then they each made a charm necklace. The treats consisted of chocolate covered strawberries, candy dragonflies (dipped pretzels), heart and flower shaped sandwiches (Strawberry, Cream Cheese, Olive and Egg Salad), Cheese and Olive Kabobs, Cheese Crackers and Rasberry Punch with Vanilla Ice Cream floating in it.

After the craft activities I took the girls outside to beat up on the princess pinata. Some of them were a little more aggresive than others. It didn’t take long until 9 petite princesses were scrounging on the ground and scraping wildly to see who would get the most candy.

You just can’t conduct a proper princess party without the obligatory teacup salute “To the Queen”.

Jolynn found a fun idea in a book for a princess cake with a tiara on top. Alyssa was thrilled with the party and was a very kind and thoughtful hostess.

What a fun party!!!
It was fun! Jon forgot to mention the burping contest they had in the middle of their tea party. I guess the drink was a little too carbonated. : )
What’s a princess party without the burping contest. lol. That’s too funny. That cake looks awesome.
Too funny! I hope you were recording it for posterity!
I am impressed by your cake decorating prowess–that cake looked just like the picture on the cover of the book!
