One of me and Travis’ favorite traditions isĀ attending the BYU football teams home games at Lavell Edwards Stadium. We have six season tickets and love to invite our family members to attend with us. This past week was Kayson’s turn to go see a game and it turned out to be an exciting snowy adventure. As part of our tradition we stay until the very last second ticks off the clock before we get up and leave the stadium. Towards the end of the fourth quarter this past week versus Eastern Washington the snow really started coming down. We couldn’t even see the lines on the field as it quickly turned from green to white. The boys had a great time sipping hot cocoa and eating candy while myself, Uncle Jim, Grandpa Lee and Grandpa Chidester watched the game in earnest. This week I will have to miss the Colorado State game as I will be helping with our annual fund-raiser dinner for our LDS ward’s youth groups. Go Cougars.

There’s nothing like kids at a football game. My husband and I are talking about leaving Salt Lake for the country, we were small town kids ourselves. And Monroe and Annabella seem just perfect! My son Aiden adores BYU and his idol is player Max Hall.
This blog is great, I really can’t get enough of it! I’m just starting my family and it’s so neat to be able to read this and see what it’s like starting out. My husband seconds the idea. You should totally be writing more often! =-)
