Travis had a fun birthday party on Monday night and we tried to sneak in a little bit of pumpkin carving for the kids. Jolynn made some very cool cakes and went with this cool lego cake for Travis. Travis got a sweet iPod Nano for his birthday and some legos and lots of treats and sweets.

I requested a carrot cake for my birthday with extra cream cheese frosting. It was perfect with nearly and equal cake to frosting ratio - just how I like it.

Max carved this pumpkin and just wanted to stamp some bats flying above the stars.

Travis had the coolest pumpkin with a lot of hard work.

We feasted on yummy food while we carved the pumpkins. Jolynn made her famous gablehouse style broccoli cheese soup, and Aunt Heidi made a sweet clam chowder. We chased it all down with a big pile of warm rolls. Of course cake and ice cream afterwards.
