Inside the House

As you walk in the front door there is a nice sized formal living room off to the left. Jolynn is glad that it is big enough to comfortably fit her new Yamaha Baby Grand Piano. The sellers are going to leave the couch and love seat as they match the decor so nicely. Jolynn doesn’t see any changes necessary in this room, just a shuffling of furniture and the hanging of some nice watercolor art.

The master bedroom is the next room off of the entry way just past the staircase. Besides the pink carpet the master bedroom is ready to go with a nice sized walk-in closet and french doors leading to the west facing deck.

The master bath is nice and big with a seperate full-size shower as well as a big jetted tub. The colors and fixtures are a bit dated but overall it is a nice master bathroom. The one downside is the fact that there is only one sink.

The family room is the next room off of the entry and opens into the kitchen area. The room is open and airy with vaulted ceilings that open up to the balcony above. The stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms also goes off of the entry.

The downstairs family room also has a built in entertainment center and a gas fireplace.

The country kitchen and breakfast nook continue the open airy feeling with plenty of natural light. The tile floors are nice although Jolynn prefers hardwood floors.

The kitchen has custom oak cabinets with plenty of storage space. We especially like the window view into the backyard from the corner kitchen sink. The bar has built in bar stools with brass accents and a tile kick plate.

Off of the kitchen area there is a small sewing room with a built-in ironing board in the wall. The washer and dryer are hidden in the doors to the right while the doors to the left hold a laundry chute and a shelving for storage.

Also off of the main kitchen area is a door leading to the small unfinished basement. This consists of two small rooms. One room has been used as a playroom for the kids while the other has been used for a food storage area and mechanical room. The two car garage is also off of the kitchen with additional storage closets and room for a deep freezer. The mudroom is also in the same area with pantry style cabinets and a sink for washing up.

As you come up the stairs there is a nice little sitting room with window seats and the balcony that overlooks the family room below. Their are several skylights in the upstairs that keep the open and light feeling going. The upstairs has 3 good sized bedrooms as well as an office/den area.

The guest bedroom is the largest of the 3 with a large walk-in closet.

The guest bedroom also has a nice vanity in the walk-in closet.

The office/den is the first of the 3 rooms on the other side of the upstairs area. It has it’s own skylight and also an entrance to the Jack and Jill bathroom that leads to the other two bedrooms.

The girls bedroom has some great built-in shelving along the walls for dolls and stuffed animals. The colors are just right for our two little princess balerina girls.

The remaining bedroom is a bit larger than the girls bedroom and will likely be claimed by Travis. The decor is currently moose and elk with masculine wall paper boarders. The view of the mountains to the south is amazing from this upstairs bedroom. There are also two nice sized closets, not quite walk-ins but very large.
